Reflection and self-exploration

Reflecting enables us to learn and grow by stepping back and thinking.

The power of reflection cannot be underestimated. Reflective thinking helps us plan and gives us an insight that we may miss. It is an integral part of the learning process; it allows us to learn more about ourselves.

Reflecting enables us to learn and grow by stepping back and thinking. It is a valuable skill that can help you in both professional and personal lives growing both your self-confidence and self-awareness. But how do you reflect? It is easy advising people to do this, but most people don’t know how to build this habit. Our workshop will give you the skills required to learn effective self-reflection. A fascinating experience, and once this is established in your thought process, you will never look back.

Self-exploration is fascinating because it involves looking at your own thoughts, feelings, behaviours and motivations. Have you explored yourself after a conversation or an interaction with a peer or work colleague/manager? This is a very useful skill to have to really understand yourself and what thoughts go through your mind in a conversation. For example, do you ever sit and think, what didn’t you say and why and what you felt the other didn’t say and why? What was holding both of you back in a conversation, what was not being said and why. Self-exploration is a skill that can be trained to build your self-awareness. Self-exploration is different than the skill of self-reflection two very different skills.

We at Target deliver both as separate workshops. They are both fascinating and interesting, and you will leave reflecting on your past with a positive shift in your way of thinking. Claire Moody delivers these workshops. Our remote courses are live virtual events delivered online by Claire, who is an experienced master trainer and experienced executive coach MSc. Our workshops are highly effective fully interactive live training sessions, and you will learn as you would in a classroom environment.
